Shopping and Packing

There are so many things to buy when you think of everything you are going to need for 2 years.  Two Suits, six ties, white shirts, thick socks and a pair of shoes that were special ordered.  It took over six weeks from The Kater Shop to get everything in and tailored.  Dress Slacks and white shirts from JC Penney during their going out of business sale.  Three suitcases from TJ Maxx.  The Yardley's were kind enough to give Hudson a towel set for graduation to take with him.  Temple clothing, garments, journal and lesson books from Deseret Book.  I felt so grateful we got his white tie for only $2.50.  Cheapest thing I purchased during this whole endeavor.  I had an unused shoulder luggage bag in the closet for his temple clothes.  We gave up on finding another pair of 13 wide, waterproof dress shoes in Logan and ordered them online.  To get free shipping Hudson added a pair of dress socks to the cart in the color of "oatmeal".  Very Classy.  We are glad it all fit.  He was up until 11:30 weighing himself and the bags and moving things from one bag to another.  His big bag at the airport weighed in at 49 pounds and the 2nd biggest 48 pounds.  50 pounds was the limit!
