Thanksgiving, Santa, and snow (Week 11 Hudson email)

Hey y'all, it was a pretty action packed week this time around. Right after last Pday we started our exchanges with the Traveling APs. It was good, they came during Thanksgiving and didnt eat all of our food. Thanksgiving was nice, and big, it reminded me of Thanksgiving at home. Except with some weird food and nasty stuffing. Although I would request some stuffed mushrooms next time around. We did Thanksgiving at you know who, the Cheatwoods.

per usual, right after Thanksgiving, Christmas started. We went and saw Santa in town square, he lit up the Christmas tree with a candy cane from the north pole, out of a cherry picker. It was cool, and they had fake snow. Although a couple days ago it actually did snow! It was pitiful but I did see a snowflake!

We decorated our apartment with all the lights and it's nice, I now understand why people go through the effort of decorating! We also added a christmas tree and approx 50 presents under it. My mom is the best, (if you didnt know already). She's wrapped a present for me and elder French for all 25 days before christmas and found an associated scripture verse for all the presents. Simply the best

Teaching has been really good this week, we've had a golden referral, she knows all the lessons and we just need to put her on date next lesson. Then I "found" a girl named Lydia on Facebook, it was a woman that Sister Wilson had been telling us about but hadn't been able to schedule anything. Well we were able to schedule stuff and have an awesome lesson with Sister Wilson, help is always nice! The lesson went so well that we even.put her on date on December 20th, unfortunately that date will have to be moved around but hopefully we can baptize in 2020!

We are in Linden again yesterday, been some serious mon'ing if you know what I mean;)
