Hudson added an intro song to his podcasts. It was supposed to be reminiscent of the safety zone. He is recording outside and a golf cart speeds by splashing in the mud.
In this picture Hudson is showing the comparison of how small of an area he has to work in now, compared to Lawrenceburg and Lafayette.
Wednesday: Went to the arcade and played killer instinct for about an hour. Also had an NFL Blitz game. He was glad his dad taught him to play these games. No keyboard stand at the store. Once they get in they will cost $50! Looking for other options. In the meantime he has it propped on a bench and some boxes.
Thursday: Franklin drops the missionary discussions by walking out of their lesson at the church building. He wants the missionaries to tell him the truth, but respect his beliefs at the same time. He keeps telling the missionaries they aren't helping him by "teaching lessons". Hudson feels he was hoping to get money from the church. Happy Year mark to Hudson, September 16!!!!!
Friday: Went to David Goodman's home to burn a shirt for his 12 month anniversary. Started sharing bedtime stories at the apartment. Stayed up way too late.
Saturday: Referral of Ceecee. She wanted to vent about her social pressure. Not sure it will move into lessons. Elder Petersen's grandma lives in their area. She took them to lunch and bashed on Utah church members and people moving to the South. Apartment members were spoke for the next four days with Russian accents.
Sunday: Pouring rain on the way to church. Elder Elquis wanted to invite a lady walking in the park to church. Hudson felt like a stalker attacking the women on the walking path. When they finally reached her she screamed in their face as they approached her with "HEY" and scared her to death. She did not come to church since she was a Presbyterian. They ran to their running car, jumped in the back seat and sped off. Darlene an investigator commented in Sunday School. It was scary as her set of missionaries had left her alone, but appropriate. Dinner with the Jensen family was very proper. Hudson is learning what he wants his home to be like when he is a grown up. Meat and potatoes were served and Hudson felt like he was back in Idaho. He felt the whole event was more of a presentation than a conversation. He has a copy of almost every printed Book of Mormon. He does not have the original publishing in his collection as they cost about a million dollars.
Monday: Amazing clouds in Smyrna. The Elders got to see a rainbow over a water tower. They might have blown it out of proportion a little. Exchanges with Zone Leaders. Hudson got Elder Dallin who reminds Hudson a lot of Chevy. I think he feels a bit homesick for his brother.
Tuesday: The elders shared ghost stories that were shared on their exchanges. Hudson has started doing "car contacting". They carry a sign around in the car that says "Jesus Loves You". If they can get someone to roll their window down, they ask for their phone numbers. Lesson with Antonio and Hudson messed up his dap, as it has been so long since he has done it. Antonio was listening to his own music while sitting in the back of his truck.
Quad comparisons--Elder Wiscombe: Mason Thompson (soft spoken, real homie) Elder Petersen: Jordan Keller during Sophomore year/Chevy especially in his taste in music. Elder Johnson: Zay Davis (super smart, but lacks come common sense sometimes)
