Wednesday: Chelsea and Tom came to the church for a run through of Chelsea's baptism. Tom is in the process of having his street name tattoo "TRIP" removed from his forehead. Chelsea's reminds Tom he has to quit smoking before he can be baptized. The elders justify him to stop smoking for his health and the cost. Tom tells the elders he has more expensive habits then smoking?
Friday: The senior couple the Summer's moved into the sisters apartment and the Elders helped them. The Elders had dinner at the Cojans. They went to visit Chelsea. She said she was from California and grew up "HOOD". They had some disturbing discussions about being "HOOD" and "Fighting" with her and Tom. They wrote three rap songs that night: beans on toast, biotin and miracles.
Saturday: They finally got a tadpole to grow into a frog. A giant rainstorm cam in and now "Tad" can't be found anywhere. Hudson says the rain comes down so heavy, it flows like a river through his apartment parking lot.
Sunday: Chelsea's is baptized by Brother Daniel Ives. There was a COVID exposure at a youth activity in the gym building so only 40 people came to church. The Senior couple the Summer's spoke in sacrament about temples. It was a difficult lesson for Chelsea and Tom to understand that day. President Reliford saved the meeting when he spoke in his 6'6" silky smooth black tone. After sacrament Tom went around introducing everyone to himself. He also had lots of comments during Sunday school and wanted to move closer to the front so he could hear.
Monday: District council. Hudson got to play Teach Me to Walk in the Light as sister Summers did not follow the program at Chelsea's baptism and he did not get to play. They had a Hell's Kitchen sandwich making contest. Hudson made the worst possible sandwich and tied it the offering we have for God when we pass away. Make sure your sandwich is a good one!Tuesday: Hudson had an exchange with Elder Bryson. They went to visit Chelsea. Tom was sweating like a pig. Apparently, he was digging a hole, to put in a rail road tie, to attach a gate to, for the dogs in the yard. Chelsea told Hudson that after her baptism she came home and "slept hard" then she went to bed and "slept hard again". Hudson explained it as the relief of her sins being lifted after being baptized. He was happy that she expressed feeling the spirit. They went to Connie's and she had strep throat so the mucked out some of her stalls. They had a correlation meeting that spoke a lot about Ryan. Hudson kept telling them there was nothing they could do to help him. A lot of time was wasted.
Hudson was planning on a lot of pickleball for P-day today.
