Thursday: Coordination meeting with Brother Ford who is the Elder's Quorum president. Elder Dickey and Ford could not explain to Hudson why a bond is created. They thought he was only asking if the crime is worse the amount is increased. Donna was happy the Lord answered her prayers by having the missionaries reach out to her again. Donna's lesson did not end well when she told them she was not leaving St. John's Baptist church. She feels the Elders are pressuring her into baptism. Hudson does her accent like a champ!
Friday: Chelsea's baptism is cancelled because of the pending court charges.
Saturday: Stop smoking workshop with Anna and an investigator that is 86 and scheduled to be baptized September 4. She, however, refuses to drink the grapefruit juice. Hudson got a bit heated. I relayed it to him as a lesson in parenting. It is frustrating when children won't do what they are asked. Hudson got word that he will be hosting the bonfire on September 4.
Sunday: The Elders had 6 invitations for people to come to church and as usual no one showed up. Loretta was confused about the names of the books in the bible. She thinks God wrote the bible! Devlin came to Elder's Quorum. The Elder's spent 2 hours at Chelsea's.
Monday: District council in Gallatin, TN. The sisters set up a scavenger hunt. Meal at a members home with lots of ducks and chickens. Lesson with Debbie who is friends with Brother Ford. Brother Ford made the lesson more confusing by referencing the book of Revelations.
Tuesday: Scraping stalls at Connie's. Hudson whipped the animals to get them out over and over again. Long coordination meeting. Send a picture of your favorite juice.
