Happy Birthday to Sister Nelson Week 89

 Hudson has had a full week.  He had his last in person meeting with President Weaver at Zone conference in Madison.  😢 The Facebook pages Hudson has been tagging and sharing in have had a lot of feedback.  Some better than others, but all publicity is good publicity so he will continue to work on it.  He also reminds everyone to like, comment twice and share twice.

While there he has backed into in a parking lot while looking for a sushi restaurant.  The car in front of him pulled into a parking spot.  Not liking it the car then backed out of the spot.  Hitting Hudson's car on the side door.  Insurance was exchanged and Salt Lake said they would take care of it.  Elder Thomason has lost a filling in his tooth, and they are trying to get him into a dentist to get it fixed.  The member dentist is a bit of a drive from where they are, so it is challenging.  While in Madison the Elder's went to the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, KY.  Hudson was disappointed that they charged $18 for him to be accosted into joining the Corvette family and lifestyle with ads.  The factory is located on a sink hole that in 2017 sucked in eight cars.  Hudson got a picture in front of one they pulled back out.  The Elders also played the pitstop game and got the high score for the day.

The work is moving forward in the Franklin, KY Branch.  The Portland Elders had two baptisms the first 2 weeks and Hudson has 3 set up for the next three weeks.  Hudson thinks that has got to be a record.  Hudson played the piano at one of the baptisms.  He said the person took over 20 minutes to change out of the wet clothes and he played a lot of prelude while she was doing it.  Afterwards Judy, the lady he has been working with, told him he was going to be a real catch for a young lady someday.  He was tall, handsome, nice and could play the piano.  What a combination.  I couldn't have said it better myself.  Hudson will miss Sister Roach and her commentary when he leaves this area.  She has been a treat to be around.  Hudson has been issued a challenge to relate household items to the gospel.  Some have included a purple pair of tweezers and a black magnet.  He is quick on his feet with his responses.  Hudson also challenged the Miles family to study President Nelson's talk Spiritual Momentum.  The kids creating a poster board with each of the 5 areas to improve in your life.  They were geared towards kids and Hudson loved the pictures they drew on it.  Awesome family.

For my Birthday Hudson got the Elders to record singing to me.  It was awesome to hear them.  Coincidently when I came out of work and got the birthday song, Gypsy Queen was playing on the radio.  Oh, how that song always makes me think of Hudson.
